Kingdom County Productions
Located in Vermont's Northeast Kingdom since 1991, Kingdom County Productions is a nonprofit media arts education organization and independent film production company. It was founded by Semester Cinema senior consultant and former executive director, Jay Craven, and his wife, Bess O'Brien, who is an award-winning documentary filmmaker.
For more than 25 years, Kingdom County has produced award-winning feature films and documentaries, live performances with internationally celebrated artists, and pioneering learning experiences in filmmaking, theater and writing. It was the parent non-profit of Semester Cinema through the 2024 iteration, and continues to support the program as an affiliated sponsor.
